This was such a fun weekend for me on Emerald Dream, I just had to share. First, there was leveling -- Seya hit level 88! I'm not sure if that happened on the weekend or shortly before, but whatever, my first weekend at level 88! \o/ Two more levels to go....

Then, Araane came and collected Seya from trying again to defeat the White Tiger tests (still stuck on the third one), and we flew off to one of the bajillionty gorgeous spots in Pandaria and had some very pleasant RP. Then Araane rescued Yuli from an unfortunate fall (Yuli needed a rez because she'd fallen off a cliff and couldn't get back to her body), and we all made our way back to the Eastern Kingdoms with an eye towards RPing in Duskwood with whoever wanted to come.

While Yuli and I were in the Scarlet Raven waiting for Araane and Hooves, two level 50ish Pandaren monks, Drunkinmonk and Sélong from Lightninghoof, came up and started RPing with us. At first I was afraid they were going to be griefers, but they weren't at all! Sélong says that Drunkinmonk is new to RP, and one of them (I don't recall which one) was RPing as having bought into the tavern, but they were both really nice and very pleasant and respectful, and said said several times that they would totally back off if they were interrupting our RP. And Drunkinmonk was AFK some of the time taking care of his sister, which endeared him to me somewhat. :) Sisters come first!

And then the Horde came. OH NOES!

But I thought, hey, I'm 88, at least if I die, I won't die as quickly this time.... So when everyone ran outside to defend our beloved town, I hurried along as well. And actually committed intentional PvP! And did damage almost as if I had any idea what I was doing! And when the Horde returned, I did again! Yes, okay, I wasn't very effective I don't think (holy mother of god I need to learn how to switch targets better), but Killing Spree made me at least LOOK impressive once or twice, I like to think. :)

Our poor Pandaren friends died somewhat, but were also so helpful with the healing! I don't know how much healing they did, being level 50-something, but they were in there doing their part to the best of their abilities! And that counts for everything, to me.

When it seemed like the Horde wasn't coming back, and that there were plenty of other Allies around to look after Darkshire, we took off for the Brawler's club. I feel terrible because I was giving Sélong a ride, and dropped him as we crossed into Stormwind. I thought that since we were in a party, we could be in SW together, but he was phased and I couldn't find him to collect him. :(

BUT! We did manage to all of us get to the fight club at which time we were all partied up again and all was well. And I think Sélong forgave me for dropping him. (I am fail taxi.)

And Yuli and Kel fought their bouts and were awesome! And we all cheered them on ICly and had entertaining /party chat, and our Panda friends handled rez duties, and were pretty hilarious about it when killed themselves by rowdy angry brawl enthusiasts. And all in all it was an awesome night! Though I was up too late because I couldn't stop watching Yuli fight those damned goblins.

So then yesterday I was sort of bored and wanted to explore, and my hearthstone was on cooldown so I took the SW portal to Paw'don Village. And as I zoned in, one of the cats (Buddy, god bless him) decided it would be the perfect time to risk life and limb by doing...something. I'm still not sure what, I only heard the noise. Naturally I left poor Seya to fend for herself while I went to Buddy's aid, and -- unsurprisingly -- got back to find the "Release Spirit?" box up.

/le sigh

So I checked my combat log to see who killed me, and it was the DASTARDLY RUVIN, an undead hunter whom I know slightly from the forums. RUUUUUVIIIIIIN. *shakes tiny ineffectual fist* At first I thought it was Ruvin and a friend, but Quan turns out to be Ruvin's pet.

So I thought, huh. Where is Ruvin now? I would like to go see.

So I logged onto one of my languishing Horde lowbies and found out where Ruvin was roaming, and then ate my Blackened Worg Steak and scampered off to look for him. Or her. I'm not sure. I'mma go with her just for ease of pronouns.

Astonishingly easy to find! At Westwind Rest, ganking.

I had truly intended only to spy, because I cannot hope to defeat a level 90 in Malevolent gear as a level 88 in Vicious Leather. But, well. You know. Best laid plans.

KILLING SPREE!

Naturally I didn't actually kill Ruvin. I like to think of it as a friendly hello.

Ruvin must have thought so too, as she did not kill me for my efforts.

She killed some other poor rogue, but not me, and we had a semi-civil exchange of /rude and /ruffle and /bite.

(I'm afraid I was the /rude one there.)

And then I went back to questing.

This morning I harvested crops. It was a very soothing start to the week after such an eventful weekend.

Sunsong Ranch sure is pretty in the morning.
