WOOT! Daniria hit level 70 tonight! *dances around*

Alas, she's far too poor to buy Artisan Riding (3,500GP omgwtf, how am I supposed to come up with that kind of money? All my toons among them don't have that much), but STILL! 70! YAY!!!

Congrats!!

I'm bringing my 4th character up toward buying the Stupidly Expensive Flying, and I'm not looking forward to it. At least they dropped the price of it, and Cold-Weather Flying.

Dailies. Also, if you skin/mine/herb, auctions can be helpful. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING.

But seriously, a lot of dailies give 10g+; it adds up fast.

This! I made 250g a day when I was doing the Argent Tournament dailies, and since I was collecting tokens for heirlooms, I had to do them a LOT. This is why I have epic flappies for four different characters. (Or is it five? It could be five.) XD

Dalies are the bomb for making fast dough. And there will always be some at your level. Right now Firelands are netting me around 200/day, and I'm not done unlocking them all yet.

Argent tournament dailies are in Icecrown; please don't go to Icecrown just yet... :)

Is it only 3500g now? It was 5000g when I bought it for all my various toons. *g*

ALSO I AM A DOOFUS OMG! 70, congratulations!!!! WELCOME TO NORTHREND, OH GOD. Northrend is so fucking amazing. Northrend is the most epic of all epic things; the quests there are so good. It helps to know a titch about WoW Lore and why Arthas is so important, but... YES. Northrend, Northrend, Northrend. ♥

Grats! \o/

In addition to dailies--which really do pay well--a good way to make money is to solo Shadowfang Keep and sell the wool. It sells for ~20g per stack, you can solo the dungeon in about 30min and get 3-4 stacks of wool and 2-3 stacks of linen (which also sells well). (Edit: Sells well on the auction house, I mean. Don't vendor it!) To solo the dungeon, you have to go to its physical location (western Silverpine Forest; for the exact spot check wowhead) and run into the swirly dungeon entrance. It's a level 20-something dungeon, so I promise you won't have any trouble at all with either mobs or bosses!

Oh, BTW, all the major cities ought to have cooking and fishing dailies now. Those are easy ones to do, and if you do them in cities where you aren't exalted, they give 250 rep each. :-D

Just echoing the folks above about using the auction house- for example, on my server frostweave is between 60-90 a stack, and you will be seeing a lot of that as you keep leveling. Dailies won't do you a ton of good till you hit level cap, alas, though they can be a lot of experience very quickly (and the argent tournament ones will get you pets which sell for a lot...) I had my alts pay for themselves neatly by rolling double gathering professions and getting all my boe greens disenchanted if their dust and shards sold for more than the green itself.

it used to be 4200gold. Be glad they lowered it! haha.

I have my riding maxed on my main, but still need the last flying skill on my alt... saving for 3500. Best way to get money --use your professions and quest/dailies!

Also seconding (...fourthing?) the suggestion to use the auction house. If there are dungeons you missed while you were leveling, you can go back for both the dungeon achievements as you gather cloth to sell. If you have enchanting, you can DE all the blues you pick up for more. Meat is a bit of a long shot but I've had luck selling mats listed on popular cooking powerleveling guides, so that is also an option though it requires more patience. Either way though, if you go in with empty bags and pick up everything, you can make quite a bit even if you end up vendoring most of the junk.

And soloing dungeons is fun, if you have a class that can do it easily. :D

Good luck! \o/
