WoW ironman challenge?

So...the guildmaster of my Shadowsong guild mentioned the WoW Ironman Challenge - latest forum thread is here. Rules under the cut, though if interested at all, I recommend checking out the post, as there are some clarifications in comments and also more about how to participate in the challenge as opposed to just doing it on your own.

The thing that interests me is that I was just wondering the other day what it would be like to play WoW if you decided that death was permanent, and that if your character died, you'd just delete and re-roll or something.

Anyway, I don't know that I would try this, but I thought it looked really interesting and wanted to share.
