I have two 85 ally toons and a 68 horde dk. Right now b/c I'm so used to alliance, it is nice to play horde.

However, horde definitely has it rough for the pilgrim quests and getting into capitals. LOL I found that out the hard way. *ugh* Other than that, I can't really say if one is significantly better than the other.
